Cartabiano’s abstract acrylic paintings reflects the high keyed intensity of summer heat. Forms and imagery suggest beach and ocean references as well as architectural influences from her past work. She describes her painting process as fluid. Her work is a record of the complex relationships of color as the painting begins to develop.
